Problem with PM reply only showing quote?

A few users have reported this problem. Please reply here if it has happened to you and let me know if you used quick reply or regular reply. Thanks!

Someone replied to a pm I sent to them. Their reply contained only a quote of what I had written. I noticed that there was a copy of the message in the quick reply box underneath. It was all a little confusing.

Did the copy in quick reply have a quote of the original quote only or a quote of the original quote and the user's reply?

I know what you mean. The latter, but just the responders name with begin and end quotes....no text.

umm... I'm not sure what you mean. I sent two people different messages on different occasions. I got notification that they sent me messages back, and when I check the messages they sent me back, all the message contains is my message quoted back from me. It's from them, and they're in my inbox.

I type the message after the quote like this. It appears in the sent messages box, but when I click on the sent message it only shows MY quote.

I have received two PMs in which this problem was obviously manifesting itself, as all I got was quotes of what I had sent them.

I've reset the code to the default for PMs to see if this will resolve the issue. If anyone continues to see this, please let me know here.

I've had someone tell me that they received my response as just saying quote...
